Discusses school bullying and Harvard Schoolyard Bullying Practicum conference. Conference emphasized five points: (1) school bullying is a pervasive problem; (2) to avoid confrontation, victims skip school, play sick, and get sick under pressure; (3) victims and bullies need help; (4) bullying behavior is not normal; and (5) intervention strategies developed in other countries have potential for the USA.
