Reports on an informal survey of 52 women high school counselors or college admissions counselors about their concerns, which revealed included balancing responsibilities, potential for advancement, salary inequities with men, relocation difficulties, the need for the "old-girl network," difficulty in building a career with childrearing responsibilities, and some men's inability to deal with women as equals.
