The purpose of this investigation was to identify and order significant factors in the career preparation of sport/recreation managers. Three hundred-ten practicing sport/recreation managers responded to a three-part questionnaire. Findings are presented, and recommendations for research and program development for sport/recreation management education are offered. (MT)
