Gathered descriptive data on client-reported affective reactions and behaviors associated with termination of individual counseling. Termination behaviors included reviewing the counseling, thinking about the client's future, and saying good-bye. Clients reported positive feelings about ending, felt it important to discuss their feelings, and felt satisfied with the termination process though loss-related variables were not predictive.
