Examined differences between career counseling clients whose expressed and inventoried vocational interests were either congruent or incongruent. Subjects were 54 female undergraduates requesting career counseling at a university counseling center. Career-relevant outcomes were measured and significant differences were found. Results seem to support the need for increased consideration of expressed vocational interests in career counseling. (ABB)
