The current and expected roles of local vocational education supervisors were investigated by collecting perceptions of school superintendents, state vocational supervisors, local vocational teachers, and local supervisors. Differences were found in role perceptions between current and expected roles and among the four groups. Recommendations for reducing those differences are made. (Author)
