Compares Black and White adolescent females on two dimensions of psychosocial adjustment (self-esteem and educational-vocational expectations) and a global measure of adolescent psychological functioning. Generally, results indicate comparable or better adjustment of Black females than their White peers, satisfaction with themselves, and high educational and vocational aspirations and expectations.
