Validity of the Maslach Burnout Inventory for Family Practice Physicians.
Rafferty, James P.; And Others
Journal of Clinical Psychology, v42 n3 p488-92 May 1986
Assesses the utility of Maslach's concept of burnout for family practice physicians. Significant correlations between job satisfaction and five of the six Maslach Burnout Inventory subscales suggest that the construct of burnout has considerable psychological import for family practice resident physicians. Validity of the emotional exhaustion subscale is demonstrated. (Author/ABB)
