Examines burnout in paraprofessional residential service workers. Results indicated job satisfaction, role ambiguity, and perceived efficacy were correlated with burnout. Role conflict and satisfaction with supervisors were correlated with emotional exhaustion. Burnout, job satisfaction, and perceived efficacy were correlated with social desirability. (Author/BL)
