Meir, Elchanan I.; And Others
Journal of Vocational Behavior, v28 n1 p60-69 Feb 1986
Holland's hypothesis that there is a positive relationship between personality-environment congruence and satisfaction was examined using group importance as a mediator. Correlations between these measures of importance and congruence-satisfaction correlations were .68 and .77, respectively. Theoretical and practical implications of the findings are discussed.
