The Population Problem as Economic Disarticulation.
Yapa, Lakshman S.
Journal of Geography, v84 n6 p242-47 Nov-Dec 1985
Overpopulation exists when people lack the basic means of subsistence, or when there is massive and permanent unemployment. Population problems of developing countries are examined, and causes of high rates of fertility are discussed. The utilization of productive resources in solving population problems is also examined.
