This paper describes seven commercially available microcomputer serials systems in terms of the following functions: cataloging/title entry, searching, check-in, claims, routing, bindery control, duplicates control, financial control, ordering, subscription renewal/payment, vendor records, reports, technical descriptions, costs, and number of installations.
