Surveyed male and female psychiatric administrators. Results revealed that men often failed to realize that women are disadvantaged by such things as lack of mentors, sexism, and inflexible laws. Suggests several approaches to investigate the number of qualified women in administration and calls for additional research to better understand such career choices. (Author)
