A Comparison of Practice Patterns and Job Satisfaction of California and Non-California PharmD Graduates: Some Implications for the Entry Level PharmD.
Carroll, Norman V.; And Others
American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education, v48 n3 p236-38 Fall 1984
It was found that in California, where schools graduate primarily doctoral graduates as entry level practitioners, California graduates are more likely to work in community and hospital pharmacies, work in staff rather than clinical positions, and spend most work time in distributive functions, suggesting the PharmD programs overtrain these graduates.
