Instruction techniques utilized by secondary school teachers and those preferred by students when sex education topics are taught were identified in this article. Large group discussion was preferred when teaching social and emotional aspects of sexuality. Educational media was a technique used and preferred to address physiological aspects. Implications of results are discussed. (Author/DF)
