What Relevance Do Organization Theories Have for Voluntary Associations?
Knoke, David; Prensky, David
Social Science Quarterly, v65 n1 p3-20 Mar 1984

The inquiry is arranged under five types of characteristics: incentive systems and participant commitment, formal structures, leadership and authority, environmental conditions, and organizational effectiveness.
