Pretest posttest results on responses to 10 questions by 60 junior medical students, who learned about definitions of handicapping conditions and the impact of federal regulations on education for the handicapped in a two-hour inservice session, revealed inability to generalize from a medically oriented position on definitions, diagnosis, and medication.
