Identifies, analyzes, describes, and compares the performance behaviors of Mexican-American and Anglo-American deans and chairpersons in Texas community/junior colleges using Critical Incident and Behavioral Event Interviewing Techniques. Results indicate that ethnicity, environment, and role position had only a minimal relationship to the reported array of competencies. (DMM)
