Motivation via Videotape: Key to Undergraduate Library Instruction in the Research Library.

The Library Instruction course at Iowa State University was redesigned to improve its effectiveness and increase student motivation. Data collected during the fall 1981 semester demonstrate that four videotapes produced for the purpose of improving student attitudes toward library are having a positive effect.
