The Realization of Potential by Lorton, D.C. Inmates with UDC College Education Compared to Those without UDC Education.
Haber, Gilda Moss
Journal of Offender Counseling, Services & Rehabilitation, v7 n3-4 p37-55 Spr-Sum 1983
Studied the backgrounds and adjustment patterns of 118 Black male prisoners to measure the impact of a college education on offenders, ex-offenders, and the never-incarcerated. Results suggested the college students were more aggressive and more highly motivated, while non-students tended to be more insecure and had a lower self-image. (JAC)
