Explored the effect on perceived empathy and ease of communication when counselors responded with perceptual predicates that either matched or mismatched students' (N=72) representational systems as indicated by reflexive eye movements. Results revealed no statistical significance, although male clients were more at ease with male counselors. (WAS)
