Considers the influence of the experiences, lifestyle, and behavior and psychological patterns of Blacks which may influence the effectiveness of traditional psychotherapy. Suggests therapies which incorporate the immediate environment, raise class consciousness, focus on group solidarity, deal with racism, and promote active change. (JAC)
