Examined characteristics of the neighborhoods from which clientele of an alcohol treatment center were derived. Using 1970 Milwaukee census figures and patient information, computer analysis showed positive correlations between admissions and ethnicity, educational status, nonfamiy dimension, adult male and adolescent female neighborhoods, poverty, and housing.
