Surveyed career services directors (N=154) to determine the nature and extent of burnout. Results showed a low burnout rate for this sample. Possible explanations include a combination of personal characteristics and working environment, although denial is also possible. Further investigation of characteristics that prevent burnout is needed. (JAC)
