Interpreting WISC-R Verbal-Performance Discrepancies: A Note for Practitioners.
Grossman, Fred M.
Perceptual and Motor Skills, v56 n1 p96-98 Feb 1983
Data on the magnitude of significant Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-Revised Verbal-Performance Intelligence Quotient (IQ) discrepancies (specifically the nondirectional aspect of significant frequencies) within the normal population are often misunderstood by clinicians. Suggestions for remedying inaccuracies in reporting discrepancies between Verbal and Performance IQ's and frequency data are presented. (Author/RD)
