A sample of Wisconsin adults (N=1,423) was used to obtain data on land use policy and such variables as place of residence, education, social class, environmental perceptions, and equity in real property. Focusing on diffusion theory, results indicate among others that individuals support land use regulation if they are aware of environmental problems. (Author/JN)
