Parents' and Day-Care Teachers' Perceptions of Young Children's Skills.
Totta, Anna Rose; Crase, Sedahlia Jasper
Perceptual and Motor Skills, v54 n3 (Part 1) p955-61 Jun 1982
Mothers', fathers' and teachers' perceptions of young children's five motor, gross motor, and language skills were scored as underestimates, hits, or overestimates. Comparisons yielded no differences between groups except mothers overestimated gross motor skills, and teachers underestimated fine motor skills more than fathers. Correlations confirmed the lack of difference. (Author/RD)
