Describes an introductory course in exceptional child education which provides college students with an overview of the various intellectual and physical handicaps and giftedness. Professionals actively engaged in working with exceptional persons, parents, and/or handicapped persons share their experiences with the class. Programs proved beneficial to students and lecturers.
