A study of the careers of American Council on Education fellows after completion of their fellowships is reported. Faster advancement of White males in administrative positions is corroborated, with some exceptions. The pyramid shape of the administrative structure is confirmed: the higher one advances, the less room there is for advancement. (MSE)
