The use of overhead transparencies offers many advantages over the traditional chalkboard and slide projector. Basic techniques for designing and producing thermal transparencies are described, along with methods for progressively adding or revealing new information using overlays or gates. Specific examples using pharmaceutical material are provided. (Author/MLW)
