Sex Roles and Type A Behavior.
Batlis, Nick; Small, Arnold
Journal of Clinical Psychology, v38 n2 p315-16 Apr 1982
Examined relationships between sex-role identification and Type A behavior. Type A behavior correlated significantly with the masculinity and femininity scales of the Bem Sex-Role Inventory but the scales themselves were statistically independent. Suggests identification with masculine but not feminine traits, while perhaps conducive to psychological health, may be dysfunctional. (Author)
