Focuses upon the relationship between Holocaust experiences and postwar adaptational styles among survivors' families. Three general family types are associated with overall psychological responses: "families of fighters,""the numb family," and "those who made it." Some implications for psychiatric treatment and for further research are mentioned. (Author/DB)
