A Note on the Contribution of Assertiveness Training to Job Satisfaction of Professional Librarians.
Stead, Bette Ann; Scamell, Richard W.
Library Quarterly, v51 n4 p380-89 Oct 1981
Describes an empirical study that examines the relationship between assertiveness and the individual dimensions of job satisfaction for a sample of 68 professional librarians. Results do not support the current emphasis on assertiveness training for overall job satisfaction, although it may be beneficial for low-assertive people. Twenty-four references are listed.
