Four aspects of job satisfaction among urban and suburban high school teachers were examined: work, colleagues, supervision, and pay. Data indicate that subjects dissatisfied with intrinsic job aspects (work, colleagues, supervision) were satisfied with extrinsic factors (pay), and vice-versa. (Authors/CJ)
