A Comparison of a Statistical and Subjective Procedure to Ascertain Item Validity: One Step in the Test Validation Process.
Plake, Barbara S.
Educational and Psychological Measurement, v40 n2 p397-404 Sum 1980

Results show little agreement between statistical and subjective methods. Test developers should statistically support a reviewer's selection of biased items. (Author/CP)
