The Relevance of a Human Resources Development Model for Understanding Unemployment Status within Southeast Ohio.
Napier, Ted L.; And Others
Journal of the Community Development Society, v11 n1 p59-75 Spr 1980
Comparing socioeconomic characteristics of employed and unemployed heads-of-household in southeast Ohio, the authors found the traditional human resource development model to be a poor predictor of employment status in rural areas. A combined human resources structural perspective is suggested for regional development efforts implemented within lesser developed regions. (JOW)
