One hundred students (ages 6 to 17) identified as experiencing academic difficulties were administered both the Draw-A-Person and the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-Revised (WISC-R) to assess the relationship between the two instruments with this population. Analyses indicated significant correlations between the various scores obtained on the WISC-R and the drawings. (Author/PHR)
