Results of the Association of American Medical Colleges survey of the 1979-80 compensation of full-time U.S. medical school faculty members are reported. The sources of faculty compensation examined include: the base/guaranteed component that is exclusive of fringe benefits; and supplement income. Mean salaries are listed by faculty and rank and are compared with 1978-79 figures. (JMD)
