Assessing Achievement Motive of American and Israeli Managers: Design and Application of a Three-Facet Measure.
Elizur, Dov
Applied Psychological Measurement, v3 n2 p201-12 Spr 1979

A three-facet definition of achievement motivation--behavior modality, type of confrontation, and time perspective--was suggested which provided guidelines for the formulation of hypotheses.
