The SOREFI (Social-Recreation-Fitness) program was developed to prevent overuse and misuse of outpatient physical therapy by disabld persons. SOREFI was designed to wean the chronic patient from unnecessary therapies by helping to identify and then meet the needs by more appropriate means. (CL)
