Is Teaching Style a Function of Values Orientation?
Rosenblatt, Ronald R.; Parish, Thomas S.
Psychology: A Quarterly Journal of Human Behavior, v16 n3 p23-27 Fall 1979
In attempting to isolate variables which influence instructional styles of teachers, the researchers administered the Rokeach Values Survey and the Teaching Style Q-Sort to college students. The values "freedom" and "obedience" generated meaningful differences among individuals of the personal source, social interaction, and behavioral modification families of instruction. (Author)
