The Library of Congress: A Proposed Role in a National Information and Referral Network.
Donohue, Joseph C.
Journal of the American Society for Information Science, v30 n4 p202-04 Jul 1979
There is need for coordination of I&R services into a national network to improve effectiveness and economy, and the Library of Congress should be the coordinating agency for federal resources being spent for I&R. This would assume greater continuity of support and responsiveness to the citizen. (Author/MBR)
