The study evaluated the individualized, self-paced, closely monitored, modular approach in various settings across several disability areas. Students with mild learning handicaps, resource-room teachers who supervised instruction, and vocational teachers who supervised the students found the modules effective in learning basic phototypesetting function keys for the ExecuWriter II, phototypesetting machine.
