The article describes the growth and services of the rehabilitation program at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, for physically handicapped students. In addition to changing architectural and technological barriers, attitudinal barriers are overcome through pre-admission evaluation, early registration, and various kinds of supportive services.
