A nationwide survey of pharmacists in New Zealand investigated differential prevalence of stress-alleviate drug use in rural and urban areas. Contrary to conventional wisdom regarding urban stress, findings indicate that stress-related disorders are much more prevalent among rural than urban residents. (Author/DB)
