Due to the difficulty of predicting the specific job-related impact of technological change and resource shortages, educational organizations should be less concerned with the development of specific work skills which may not be transferable. Interpersonal competencies should be stressed, and knowledge should be acquired in both the physical and human sciences. (Author/MV)
