Raja Kumar S.
Journal of Educational Technology, v21 n3 p10-18 2024
HyFlex is the new model that has emerged in education, combining traditional classroom instruction with online instruction, thus offering learners more flexibility and freedom in their learning life cycle. This paper discusses the background, principles, benefits, and challenges, and whether it can transform higher education. Based on the current literature and case studies analysis, HyFlex is explored as a means for ensuring both educational quality and engagement in response to the diverse needs of contemporary student populations. Implications for instructors, institutions, and educational policy are discussed in the context of its implementation and prospects in an increasingly digital and flexible educational environment.
