Journal of Research on Christian Education, v33 n1-2 p58-98 2024
The study aimed to identify the effect of servant leadership on organizational citizenship behavior and establish direct and indirect effects in Indonesian Christian higher education. This study used quantitative methods with the partial least squares structural equation modeling approach to verify the hypothesis that has been proposed. The results showed that servant leadership has no significant direct effect on organizational citizenship behavior. Servant leadership has a significant direct effect on trust, job satisfaction and leader-member exchange. Meanwhile, trust, job satisfaction and leader-member exchange mediate the effect of servant leadership on organizational citizenship behavior. Finally, trust and leader-member exchange mediate the effect of servant leadership on job satisfaction.
