A survey-questionaire of graduate schools (N=164) determined how they eliminated matriculated graduate students who have cognitive ability, but not affective ability to be successful counselors. The respondents were asked about psychological tools, legal difficulties, and procedures used to eliminate students after they were admitted to graduate school. (Author)
