Ronald D. Todd
Technology and Engineering Teacher, v81 n8 p8-14 May-Jun 2022
What has been learned in the 75-year evolution of the teaching profession to implement technology as a subject and as a unique approach that supports Integrative STEM teaching and learning? In this article, Ronald Todd addresses this question by examining selected activities and efforts that: (1) have shown some success in enhancing the professional attention to and adoption of technology as a subject and Design, Engineering and Technology (DE&T) as an approach that supports Integrative STEM teaching and learning; and (2) have been shared through the Pupils Attitudes Toward Technology (PATT) research publications and the International Technology and Engineering Educators Association (ITEEA) program of curricular and instructional development.
